Through its efforts in India, MEDICS has empowered numerous individuals to live lives characterized by self-reliance and respect. The organization has collaborated with local partners to fortify groups and communities, and has facilitated the treatment of millions suffering from visual impairments. MEDICS has also provided education, counseling, training, and rehabilitation services to people who are blind or visually challenged, while expanding the provision of eye care services to the most underserved regions of India.
