Social Inclusion
At MEDICS, we understand the importance of social inclusion in the provision of healthcare services. Social inclusion means ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to the same healthcare services and benefits. We believe that social inclusion is essential to reducing health inequalities and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Free Cataract Surgery
Cataract is one of the leading causes of blindness in the world, and we are committed to ensuring that as many people as possible can regain their sight and independence through this program. We offer free cataract surgery to individuals who are unable to afford it, particularly in rural and remote areas where access to healthcare is limited.

Research and Advocacy
We conduct research to better understand the prevalence and causes of eye diseases and to identify the most effective interventions. We also engage in advocacy efforts to raise awareness about the importance of eye health and to promote policies and programs that support social inclusion and access to eye care services.

Training and Capacity Building
We believe that building capacity and training local healthcare workers is essential to ensuring sustainable eye health services. We work with local healthcare professionals to provide training on eye health and disease management, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to provide quality eye care services to their communities.

PUSHP
Cataract is one of the leading causes of blindness in the world, and we are committed to ensuring that as many people as possible can regain their sight and independence through this program. We offer free cataract surgery to individuals who are unable to afford it, particularly in rural and remote areas where access to healthcare is limited.

Eye Camps
We organize eye camps in remote areas where access to healthcare is limited. These camps offer free eye examinations and treatment to individuals who would otherwise not have access to such services. Through this program, we have been able to detect and treat eye diseases early, preventing further deterioration of eyesight.

Eye Camps for School Children
We also organize eye camps specifically for school children, where we screen and treat common eye problems such as refractive errors. By doing so, we ensure that children can see clearly, learn effectively, and have a better chance of succeeding in life. We also provide education on eye health and hygiene to children, teachers, and parents to promote awareness and prevent eye diseases.
